		<description>I think the case in Los Angeles was just a backdrop to Denny and Alan&#039;s relationship, which is hilarious in it&#039;s homoerotic references made by two aggressively straight guys. The two scenes in LA, one in which Alan got mad to Denny for assuming Alan would not allow Denny to sign his living will, and at end of the trial, when Alan refused to be engaged with the accused woman because she was &quot;Denny&#039;s girl&quot; took the relationship between the two to a new level. The breaking of the fourth wall was symbolic in that Denny and Alan live in their own reality within the show, rarely constrained by mundane logic.</description>
