[...] Tonight, Doug has new Boy Scout sign-ups and a scout meeting at the exact same time that I have to be at Tommy’s open house (last one of this school year, hooray). Do I send the two youngest to run amok in the elementary school or take them with me to wrestle while the teachers talk to parents? Do I trust them with the zombie or try convincing a 15-month-old and 4-year-old to sit still and quiet?
In bed at 11:45 p.m. ... rolled out at 6:23 a.m. imagining that the faces of my two clocks were the colors from the Gilette Fusion razor blade commercial. Is that a sign that my mind is telling me to get up and shave?
