I have emailed you once before. I am a friend of Jeni and Deans. Trinity is my daughter. Your story touched me so that I cried as I have a son David from my 1st marriage. He has always had problems adjusting with life, a mild way of putting it, and now he is 40 and still struggling with the DAD issue. Wayne and I got married when he was 4 years old. His DAD signed papers agreeing to have him adoped to get out of child support. My son has been having a lot of problems lately and suicide watches are one of them. He keeps saying even my DAD did not want me. I could not believe this after so many years. His DAD is deceased now, but the sperm doner left his Son with major issues. Sorry to bother you, but your story really touched my heart. I should have given my son better but I was so young at the time I felt that we needed to be away from the bad enviornment he was in. I never knew it would leave such scars on him. Thanks Judy

He lost Sarah the summer he said it was too expensive to visit but sent her a postcard from his 2 week island vacation. Sarah is clever enough to see past his habitual lying and had the good sense to refuse to sleep in the bed with him. Noah and Tommy are both still vulnerable to his manipulations. I worry about their ability to have healthy relationships with their future partners with the bad, bad example he sets.

I hear ya. As it happens, we’re dealing with this very same issue right now. It tears me apart to see a child having to struggle with anger and loss and not being given the opportunity to move on with their life. It’s like this huge scab that’s being picked until it bleeds just as the healing has begun.

Wow. I don’t know how readily I’d give the kids over to a guy like that either.
What scum. Granted, I don’t know anything about your situation, but to screw with your own kids like that is a special kind of evil.
