Thank you America! Let the healing begin. Damage caused by Bush must be fixed. I feel joy!

No surprise here, I feel fear and pain for what he will do for abortion.

I don’t think he’ll change anything. Obama supports Roe v Wade. McCain wants to repeal Roe v Wade. Are you concerned he will make later term abortions legal? I don’t think he will.

Oh, which comedian said he was for late term abortions? He said he thought it should be legal until they are 18 years old.

Late term abortion legal? I’d be shocked if it doesn’t come up and make it to his desk. I’d be VERY surprised if he didn’t sign it. Actually, I’d be very surprised if he didn’t sign anything widening access/funding for abortion.

And that doesn’t even address the range of things like parental notification, reporting and other medical standards.

Should I bring up things like infant protection acts for babies who survive abortions?

My concerns are wide and deep. And personally, I have no sense of humor about this topic. It’s just too important to me.

This will certainly be an issue to watch. My guess is the battle will center around stem cell research.
