When cracking jokes to the Aspies, be ready with an explanation that 1) it was a joke and 2) why it is funny. Expect "oh" instead of guffaws.

Wow. I really cannot imagine what that would be like. I’m such a smartass and make jokes constantly.

We constantly crack jokes over here too. Tommy actually catches most of them although he frequently eye rolls instead of laughs.
