The US planned to use terror on the people – in 1962 September 8, 2006 6:15 am
Posted by Doug McCaughan in : Conspiracy, Politics, Touchy Subjects, United StatesA lot of people believe that the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by Bush and Company. Even today I read that the Port Authority had wanted to demolish the Twin Towers for years because they were effectively condemned buildings. Before 9/11 I had joked that Bush wanted to bring the Cold War back for his father. Recent declassified military documents add fuel to the conspiracy theories.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 7th, 2006 – As reported by ABC News, stunning military documents codenamed “Operation Northwoods” were declassified in recent years and show how in 1962, the top US military leaders planned an operation to create terror attacks against its own cities and kill US citizens.
The documents state that through the fabrication of false evidence, the US would blame Cuba and gain public support for an unpopular war against Castro. They included developing a fake Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, the use of airplanes, and much more.

These types of connivery by the government are called "false flag operations." You can read more at The National Security Archive.

Feed the conspiracists August 29, 2006 6:46 pm

I like to makeup conspiracy theories as jokes. Here is some fuel on rigged elections. The comments make some valid points about why this would be hard to do in practice such as the injected number of votes not matching the recorded number of voters.
I really like the comment that suggests we get a vote receipt like an atm receipt. When the polls close all votes are published on a website. You could then match your vote receipt to the published vote to see if it differed. If it differed then you could dispute it. This would not allow for changing votes because you are reporting that it is different than the information printed on the vote receipt, not that it is different from your memory.

Explosive Plot Was Ridiculous August 17, 2006 7:18 am

The day they announced that terrorists were planning on blowing up airplanes and were thwarted I devised a wonder conspiracy theory. I love making up conspiracy theories but I don’t take them seriously regardless of how plausible they sound. (I have to link to this amateur video of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center because I opened it in a tab while looking for reopen911.org so all I was getting was sound and I thought I had opened porn…try it. Close your eyes and see if you don’t find yourself turning the speakers down!)
Anyhow, this computer security specialist says the liquid explosive plot was implausible. Think about how much fuel the airlines will save by the reduced weight of not carrying bottled milk, water and shampoo!
