You’re not alone. I got so frustrated with Magento, I gave up on ecommerce altogether (at least for now), and just decided to save up and open a small brick and mortar. I could go into details on all the headache that led up to this decision, but I grow tired just thinking about it. The rumors about it being terrible for SEO are completely true (even with their new hosted solution), how outdated it is… yawn – and so on. The only good thing about it is it’s front end customization abilities, but it’s not worth all the negatives.

So 55 gallons of Astroglide would be 880 eight ounce bottles so I'd say perfectly reasonable but who wants to buy the competition? Surely Astroglide wants to ship their own 55 gallon container. I bet Nuru lovers would really appreciate a 55 gallon size.

That’s actually a rather complex question. Part of the answer is the answer itself and that is I’d rather answer in a post than in a offtopic comment. If I can get one written, I’ll link to it from this comment thread so you see it.

In short, 1) decide the goal of your blog (you’ve noted it as share personal experience and thoughts) — staying focused leads to success 2) pick a schedule and keep to it as your readers will come to expect it. If you post once a month always post once a month; if you post twice a week always post twice a week etc. 3) lot of work? Conceptually yes. If you want it to happen quickly you must interact with potential readers through facebook, twitter, online communities, etc but not come across as a spammer.

I’ll ponder your question and try to do a post later.
