Straight to /dev/null

I’m banging out code today and making good headway. In the meantime, everything I have sent to the cloud seems to be going to /dev/null. Guy Kawaski has answered everyone’s Tweets but mine. Twitter posts usually see lots of traffic but not this one. My technical questions on IRC have gone unanswered. I feel a bit in a vacuum today. Are my tubes clogged?!

  1. I feel like this pretty often. That’s a good way to describe it.

Of course, part of my problem is I don’t post/tweet/whatever unless I really think I have something to contribute.

  2. There’s a lot to be said for quality of content rather than just throwing more bits out there. We have enough noise already but I’m frequently guilty of adding noise.

  3. Yeah, but what I mean is, it’s always a crap shoot as to whether someone picks up on questions/comments/whatever. So the more you have out there, the more likely it is to happen. At some point, everyone has one of these days.

  4. if i dont post a comment does that confirm your theory – oh dang too late i posted this

  5. When Dylan first replied, I almost immediately replied with “Why won’t anyone comment to this!” 🙂
