I’m a long time Dotster user. Giving Porkbun a try and am pretty impressed so far. Low cost. Great security. 2FA includes authenticator applications as well as WebAuthn (I use Yubico). You can also purchase with cryptocurrency.

While I search for new employment, I’ve been taking the opportunity to expand my skillset. I’m very excited about React.js. I’ve been reviewing algorithms and calculating their complexity in time and space and really enjoying the exercises. Next up, Jenkins.
Was going to spend the day applying for jobs. Instead I spent the day working. How’s that for irony?
Every single time I pull up a terminal window and begin typing “ssh -l” I feel like such a hacker ? “Morpheus, I’m going in!”
Completed a rowing workout. It calmed my mind. Gave me focus. Helped me plan my day.
Of course it helped listening to Crazy Mama by J.J. Cale on Pandora https://pandora.app.link/tQQWeeV6jsb
It’s 6am and I awoke with a panic attack. Going to exercise then do some administrative work then spend the day applying for jobs like a machine.
Spent the day nose down in the WordPress codex on a WooCommerce Storefront theme and building a Max Mega Menu into the store. Beautiful plugin. Day of PHP and CSS.
A bout of insomnia left me with only 4 hours of sleep last night. However, I’m caffeinated and focused on getting resumes and cover letters written. Resumes and cover letters are not my forte.
Me: “This will be a productive day!”
Internet: “eh, about that. I’m down right now.”
Today I’m working through applying a Mega Menu to a Storefront theme in WordPress’ WooCommerce.
8.5 hours later… I’m rather pleased with the changes to the site today.
Today is all about WordPress and WooCommerce.
Doing a security audit on myself and decided that perhaps I should update some of those passwords I haven’t changed in 15 or more years.
