Master: Give it a few more years.

Student: I must become a stronger man.
Master: You must exercise.

Master: You are the man that you are.

Student: I’ve let myself down.
Master: You aren’t alone.

Student: If you knew 30 years ago what you’d be today, would you make different decisions?
Master: If you knew today what you’d be tomorrow, would you make different decisions?

Student: I have never lived.
Master: Begin today!

Student: I am alone.
Master:  

Student: I am fighting a great sadness.
Master: Who is winning?

Student: I cannot live with my mistakes.
Master: Don’t live with them. Embrace them! Own them. For your mistakes are a part of your very being.

Student: The sadness comes.
Master: Cheer up.

Student: Why do we go on?
Master: Why stop?

Student: So much I haven’t done.
Master: So much you have.

Student: It’s so difficult to steer this boat!
Master: Where are you going?
