Thus far, in the past 2 days, we’ve moved roughly 160 gallons of stuff (mostly clothing) to Goodwill. And removed every VHS movie that wasn’t homemade from this house (with minor exceptions – The Wall, Diablo Follies, …). Whoopie!

I’m ruthlessly unsentimental lately. If it hasn’t been touched in a year it goes bye-bye. The buckets of mail are untouched.
Come on Doug, you were able to part with clothes – which I understand is a big step, now let Cathy purge your mail buckets!!
I have been emptying the mail buckets. The mail buckets contain tax information and other important documentation.
For those of you wondering, “What are they talking about?” I spent a year of my life refusing to open mail and accumulated 60 gallons of mail FILO style.
Any bookkeeper want to take me on as a pet project?
Doug didn’t part with anything. It was all outgrown or overly stained children’s clothes, my outdated clothes and infant equipment.
Are you kidding? Nothing came from Doug’s closet?? I guess we will have to do the shirt exchange again for his birthday.
