Student: I want a friend.
Master: You must first be a friend.

Student: Will you help carry my load?
Master: No. I will show you how to lighten it.

Student: I cannot handle any more conflict in my life.
Master: Quit fighting.

Student: All choices are wrong.
Master: All choices are nothing more than choices.

Student: The hole is deep.
Master: And broad.

Student: Oh the stuff I have to do!
Master: Gets in the way of the stuff you need to do.

Student: I’ve lost my dreams.
Master: You will find them when you rest.

Student: I tried to please all of the people.
Master: You pleased none.

Student: I worry.
Master: To death.

Student: I dropped a ball.
Master: Juggle less.

Student: I don’t want to.
Master: You must.

Student: It’ll be bad. I don’t want to look.
Master: It’ll be worse if you don’t open your eyes.

Student: I talk too much.
Master: Shush!
