Time for a quick nap.

They held the limp body of the Genie above their heads and with sadness and confusion declared, “We killed him and the nightmare did not fade.” The boy fell to knees with anguish in his face and tears pouring from his eyes. “You fools! You killed the wrong beast for this is MY dream!” The boy momentarily collapsed until an unusual calm beset him. He slowly rose to his feet and there stood the Man. “It is my dream. And it is still alive!”
