My life would be a lot better if I had a decent dry erase board.

My Family’s Emotional Needs June 10, 2004 8:03 am

I was just thinking about The Love Languages.

The 5 Love Languages as defined by Gary Chapman are:

1. Words of Affirmation

2. Quality Time

3. Receiving Gifts

4. Acts of Service

5. Physical Touch

So here’s my guesses for my family:

1. Words of Affirmation — Tommy

2. Quality Time — Cathy, Amy (although she might be Acts of Service)

3. Receiving Gifts — Sarah

4. Acts of Service — me

5. Physical Touch — Noah

A New Day!

Let’s start the day off with a PayPal donation link:

This Morning

Woke at 4:15 and really got out of bed. Sat at the computer and was there for 15 minutes! Then the bed monster sucked me back in. I slept through the 6am alarm and rose at 7am. I was so close!

At 7am I gave Tommy his medicine and got him going. I then took a half hour for some dumbbell exercises, pushups, situps and stretching. My back appreciated that! After a quick bath I’m read to print some resumes and have some interviews today!

Afternoon/Evening June 9, 2004 10:09 pm

Had a little slow down in the afternoon so I took some time to play with Amy. The other kids were each doing their own thing. Took the evening with Cathy and Amy after dropping Sarah, Noah and friend at Bible School. We sought Knoxville postcards for this family. I can’t believe how hard it is to find a postcard! Decided to shop at our favorite grocery for dinner, The Fresh Market. Returned home to cook a satisfying meal and have the evening ritual.

DRESDEN, Tenn. – Investigators made a quick hit finding 150 marijuana plants along the Tennessee-Kentucky state line. Silly journalists! “made a quick hit” haha! I wonder how many people that slipped by.

ugh! Finally opened Sunday’s paper for the jobs. I suppose a really motivated person would have been doing this Sunday a.m. So, a job that I applied for in February, and had breakfast with the CTO in May is now being advertized again. And I am so perfect for the job!

Michael Moore Fahrenheit 9/11 Michael Moore is like one of those horrible car accidents where you can’t help but look. The trailer rocks and just whets your appetite so much more! I can’t wait to see what this film does to Bush’s ratings.

Spent most of my time between activities trying to fix Cathy’s Windows 98 computer which was not allowing the .Net Framework to be installed. I kept running into “Internal Error 2???” and a “1935” error. This wonderful site finally helped solve the problem.
