My wife is sick today and I feel like I should be working upstairs to help watch Evan and keep him from jumping on her. However, my work today demands that I be on the computer downstairs. I hate this feeling.

Are you running at least XP Professional? Use RDP from the upstairs computer to yours. Or download VNC, either way you can “work” on the downstairs computer from upstairs. (of course this may have come too late to help… sorry about that)

Aye. I didn’t even consider RDP. I use it all the time for my clients. What a bonehead!
