Cool Fly By December 14, 2004 11:09 am
Posted by djuggler in : Daily LifeI was watching out the back window and a hawk swooped down and flew about 5 feet off the ground through our trees then whooshed up to light on one of the Oaks. It caused quite a stir in the community. I’m not certain if it scored any small fowl but it was a beauty to watch!

Dad: “Noah, don’t go in that bedroom.”
Noah: Goes in bedroom anyway.
Dad: Loses temper.
Noah: Cries.
Tell you what, nothing feels worse.

Let’s start the day off with a PayPal donation link:
This Morning
I had to grab some zzs last night. I woke at 2am and almost pulled myself from bed. Woke again at 4am and could tell the fire was out but could not rise. Finally rose at 6am but I am not kicking myself. I feel rested.
Today shall be more intense programming and documentation. I have 13 communities to build by tomorrow.

Posted by djuggler in : Daily LifeLeaves have blown up against the sliding glass door and are moving with the wind so the cat has taken guard position by the door and is manically batting at the glass to scare off the leaves. The door is loose in the frame so it makes this funny thumping noise as she does it.

Posted by djuggler in : Daily LifeOne of my favorite sites is SlickDeals.net (even has its own rss feed). Now I’m adding Woot.com! As this article explains, woot.com lists a new item (and ONLY 1 item at a time) at midnight 5 days a week. The item is available until it is sold out. There are no people to talk to, no customer service, etc. Just great deals.
Found another one: http://www.dealtaker.com/
And another: http://www.ecoupons.com/
And another: http://www.shopping-bargains.com/
And another: http://www.dealcatcher.com/
I still encourage you to do your Amazon shopping here.

Posted by djuggler in : Daily LifeI love recurring dreams, particularly the ones that are not identical but are set in the same scenerio.
For instance, last night I had a dream in full techicolor where I’m walking around in a parking garage. I run into some others that are very frustrated because they can’t figure out how to get out of the garage. I am able to lead them out because I’ve been here before but it’s not just that my character in the dream “has been here.” I literally have dreamed this parking garage and this city before but on a different topic.
