Noah just came in wearing two watches–almost 2nd grade appropriate. I had to de-geek him and ask him to wear only one watch. I had him remove The Simpson’s watch since it talks and makes lots of noise. Noah has enough problems with talking in school without a watch to help him.

Does anyone remember synchronizing watch alarms in school? I think it was probably high school but the digital watchs had become fashionable…oh man! remember those red led numbers? (that was probably middle school)…and I clearly recall leading people to set the alarms to all go off at a certain time during class. It was like a guaranteed moment of silence and starring from the teacher.

This Morning

Slept like the dead! Did not want to get up this morning. The kids are moving sluggishly too.

Desires: Haul the rest of the wood from the neighbor’s before the fruits of my labor wander off, work on the yard with a brush burn, find the Jeep manual and work on the Jeep, get income

Today’s goals: Create a new business card design, create a marketing sheet, schedule a meeting with my recruiter (light a fire or fire him–one way or another there is going to be heat), study the MS Parter site to see how I could better be using it, Tommy’s psychologist appointment, meeting at Sarah’s school regarding 5th grade class trip, and finances.

Last Night

Watched deleted scenes and easter eggs from Futurama Season 1 with the wife.

I got out and did some yard work. Small dent but progress. The area that I cleared last summer has scrub that has grown 2-4 feet since I last worked on it. Wonderful living in a rain forest! (E TN does actually have a rain forest. Many of the rain forest movies are filmed there).

Cooked hamburgers for dinner and did a fine job I might add. Couldn’t have done it without the patty expertise of my wife Cathy Squarepants.

Blogging and then relaxing in bed next.

Wahoo! I bought Abschlussfahrt nach England (2001) on Blogshares at 20 cents a share and its up to $162.82!

My head feels like someone’s put a mixer in it and has the mixer on high speed. I want to get the trash out of the driveway but I need the Jeep running for that so I need to get the Jeep manual which I am pretty sure is buried in the garage and I need my tools which are scattered and buried in the garage and to clean the garage I need to move stuff out to the driveway but to do that I need to clean the driveway first which means I need the Jeep working….

Amy is now trying so hard to interact with Lucy. She has the dog’s “budda” but the dog doesn’t want to play. Amy needs a puppy.

Cathy has gone to get Tommy. He is being suspended for spitting on a teacher.

Amy is looking in a mirror saying “baby” and kissing the mirror with a big “muwah.”

Wood splitter returned. Discussed next piece of equipment to rent. $240 for 10 hours and I need an F150 to haul it.

I wish I could read German because according to Bogshares Barby is a hot commodity! [Barby on Blogshares]

Amy is jolly. She is talking up a storm. Spent several minutes repeating “Mama .. nite nite.” She feels good in my arms. She’s getting bigger. She is laughing and enjoying life!

I think Amy is up. She should have slept another 2 hours.

Things I can’t find:

– my house keys

– the bathroom caulk

– the two caulk guns

– my mind

– a job

– me

– the Haynes manual to fix the Jeep

– time

– most of my tools

– my sunglasses

– fingernail clippers (neither of the two)

I feel so disorganized. I had Tommy’s bus driver’s phone numbers written down and I never put them into an electronic form. Of course, that sticky note is long gone.

I returned from the carpool run to see the bus sitting in front on the house. Assuming that Tommy was not noticing it I ran through the house looking for him but couldn’t find him. He obviously was already on the bus.
