Closing up for the evening February 7, 2004 11:47 pm

He totally missed the point that we were upset about the lying and not the sex. Now he’s going to be afraid to talk about sex which is wrong. We don’t want sex to be a taboo subject.
Wood to the fire. Food and water for the inside animals. Outside cat is curled up by the front door looking so cold. I really would like to do something for her (other than let her in the house). Wanting to settle in.

Didn’t not mean to..kind of like the guy with the match in the dynamite shack when the lights went out..he didn’t really mean to cause an explosion did he..

Posted by djuggler in : Daily Life , add a commentThe morning was like a well trained militia as we got the baby, the 7 yr old, the 10 yr old, the wife, and myself loaded into the car for the girlscout meeting. Meeting was a good one and the 7 yr old got picked up at 10:45 for a birthday party. Wife took ill by a migraine and after we returned home she cancelled her slot at the training program. The baby took a nap. The wife napped and I held her then drifted into a deep sleep. The 10 yr old watched a Disney movie, Seventeen Again. The 7 yr old returned from the birthday party happy as could be, we lunched, played on computers and cleaned all the ash from the fireplace. Time to see if I can get a fire going.

Please note that this is a drawing on a flat sidewalk including the rocks that people are standing on.

Let’s start the day off with a PayPal donation link:

This Morning
I woke once in the night and knew the fire needed wood but my body wouldn’t move. Up at 7:30 got dressed, blogged and am now heading upstairs to help the wife get ready for this wild and crazy day. Its a nightmare schedule!
Last Night
Tried to download lindowsOS and my computer was acting up so I didn’t get to do the typing I wanted. Fell asleep betwee 10-11 and slept like a rock.

Posted by djuggler in : Daily Life , add a commentSo, as I’m about to walk out the door to pickup the 13 yr old the 10 yr old comes in and says “Is the 7 yr old supposed to be going to a friend’s house? He didn’t get off the bus.” I quickly call the school and while talking to them the bus driver comes through on call waiting. He says he’ll wait up the street and I bolt out.
When I get to the street where the bus is I turn on flashers and park in the middle of the road (not many other options). I wave to the bus driver and walk over to get Noah. I’m cheerful and not scary. He’s been crying and is obviously upset. We talk about it and say it was no big deal. Then he goes with me to pickup the 13 yr old.
When we return home, I get a phone call from his teacher that begins “I should probably talk with your wife” then she hesitates and basically says “I guess I could discuss this with you”. I think my presence at the house rocked her world. Long and short. The wife and I spent the next 1.5-2 hours talking to Noah about why he’d said to a girl in the class “Do you have sex with your dad?” or “You have sex with your dad.” Basically 4 boys and the girl were gathered around a school publication that had a picture of THE girl holding hands with her dad. The boys acted like 7 yr olds and were teasing here. The 7 yr old’s definition of sex “kissing”. The girl’s mother isn’t upset but just wanted us to know.
This guy is going to be Cassanova in highschool or maybe middleschool. I guess we will be buying him condoms for his 11th birthday.
