  • Nailed

Man survives six nails driven into head

The two men tried to grab each other to keep from falling, but both tumbled to the ground. At some point, the nail gun discharged and drove the nails into Mejia’s head.

  • Those B my kids!

So I gave Noah and Sarah the option of the Jeep with the top down or the car. I personally felt the temperature outside was beautiful but it was brisk and I thought it’d be too cool for the kids. Noah instantly called for the Jeep and Sarah hesitated. I told them to work it out and didn’t pay any attention after that. We went outside and I assumed Sarah prevailed with the car but they loaded up in the Jeep. I gave them several opportunities to change their mind but they wanted the Jeep. When we got to the school I asked all 3 riders, “so, if the weather is the same tomorrow do you want the Jeep or the car?” Sarah answered “The Jeep is fine but I want a jacket.. and my seat was a little wet.” The boys seemed to care less.

  • Bizarre Dream

Almost forgot. Last night I dreamed I was in Maine. I was at the parent’s house of some mormon friends of mine and I had helped move stuff from there before. They knew of another friend of mine that had hiked the Apalachian Trail South to North. I was now there with a “friend” that I didn’t know all that well. We needed to hike the Apalachian Trail to get home and only had one pack which contained my sleeping bag. My friend had scrounged an extra sleeping bag from our host but as we were leaving I had lost something important and had to return to the house to find it.

It was a very vivid dream and if I wanted to bore people to tears I could describe the house and hosts in great detail including colors. Felt very real.

  • From the Mouths of Babes

I love my time with my kids. I am particularly enjoying the time watching Amy grow. This morning she awakes and when I open the door she says “Oh! Dada!” then comes the ‘pitter’ ‘patter’ of her running feet. When she arrives in the living room she sees the cat as if its her first time and says excitedly “Look Dada! A cat!”

Haha! She has now taken one of Sarah’s hair bands and pulled it over both legs so it wraps around her knees. She is saying “Wooow!” as she walks around like a drunk because her knees are bound together.

I am trying to always have fruit available as a snack in the house. Currently there is cantaloupe, apples and grapes. I considered making a fruit salad but instead this morning I simply cut up the cantaloupe so naturally Amy got to try some. I don’t think this is her first time. She about had a fit though because after I handed her a small bowl with some slices she went to the drawer where the utensils are and started grunting and putting all her weight into trying to open it so she could have a fork.

She now sits in her house playing with her cantaloupe. She just considered launching it down the slide and changed her mind. She now says “Eeeewww” over and over but I can’t tell if it is about the cantaloupe or not.

    A New Day!

Let’s start the day off with a PayPal donation link:

    This Morning

Baby rolled out of bed at 4:30 and I rolled after her. The netting on Sarah’s bed is beginning to be a concern as a hazard. Oh how I wish I had the resources to add on a room. When the house on the corner sold for $113,000 and the owner assured me it would sell to a family and not become rental I had hopes of extending our stay in this neighborhood a bit longer; however, that house was passed onto his son who is putting it up as rental. I’m royally pissed. With my limited bandwidth, I’d like to form a neighborhood association and enforce “standards” in the neighborhood that perhaps would keep the renters out..of course, I’d have to live up to them myself.

I seriously considered staying up. All I had to do was not return to the bedroom but my clothes are in there.

Alarm went off at 5am then I woke again at 5:57 just before the alarm and turned it off before it disturbed the wife. Got dressed then got the kids moving.

Today is devoted to job applications with small breaks for juggling preparation for Saturday’s performance. Hopefully I can get time for programming. Day ends at 3pm.

Images of American GIs supposedly raping and sexually abusing Iraqi women were actually staged porn, taken by sleazebag Arabic-language propaganda websites from Hungarian porno sites (ads on page not safe for work)

A published report says graphic images of American GIs raping and sexually abusing Iraqi women were actually produced by U.S. and Hungarian adult Websites – who may not have known the images had been picked up and used as propaganda by at least two Arabic-language Websites protesting the U.S. war in Iraq.
But the news Website said they discovered the rape and sex abuse images actually came from Iraq Babes (adult site! Not safe for work), based in the U.S., and Sex In War, based in Hungary, with the Iraqi women depicted portrayed by actresses (adult site! Not safe for work).

Note: The Iraq Babes site appears to have been taken down and now shows just a silly picture
