What I want to know is how long the license is good. Will you still have to buy the product when it comes out, or are you really getting a $100+ OS for free?
In the beta programs by Microsoft that I participated in and actually gave decent feedback to them I received a product as a thank you.
Yeah, but WHY? Every one of MS’s previous OSs are practially betas until the first SP comes out. Its almost like going to the store to buy a nightly.
For the record, I did not download one of the 100,000 copies.
