Note! If you are going to use the private status on a WordPress blog and you hit "publish" it will NOT be private. That’s dumb. My apologies to Suresh.

I was starting to wonder if you’d lost it, man!
Oh I have! ODE to the max. I think I am going to write a WP plugin that warns you if you have marked a post “private” then hit publish.
