  • Don’t ruin it for everybody

    Dear parents, rather than trying to force your ideals upon my children, please allow them to read the assigned reading and be challenged by the concepts and the language within the writing. These books, Feed and Robopocalypse, were chosen for a reason, not by random choice. If you do not want your child to read the book, let your child read the alternative reading but leave my child alone. I believe these high school students, these young adults, can handle it.

    Today is Sunday…a day to rest. Today’s resting list:

    • Fix three computers
    • Work on a client’s website to add recurring Paypal donations to their site
    • Repair two cars
    • Repair one lawnmower
    • Buy propane and CO2 for the mosquito magnet
    • Clean the house
    • Do paperwork for cub scouts
    • Do paperwork for boy scouts
    • Do paperwork for me
    • Do paperwork for the IRS

    An easy day at last!

  • Coffee Java java java java

    How important is coffee to me? I sent my daughter to Costa Rica to bring back some grounds. Today I broke into them and the coffee tastes great!
