Actions Louder than Words

Nicky makes a good point. Let’s not talk politics anymore. Our path for the next four years has been laid however we need not allow our civil liberties to be swept out from underneath us. A call to all Americans regardless of party views! Step up to the plate. For the next 4 years (and hopefully the rest of your life), write letters, make phone calls, send emails and be a part of the political process. When legislation is proposed, make your views known! Be an active American not a passive one!

Let’s have conspiracy!

So for fun, let’s step into GW Bush’s head for a minute. Let’s add in a few prime time quality flash backs and replay some dialogs that Junior has had.

Senior’s End of Term

GW: “Daaddee. It ain’t right that you didn’t get another term.”

Sr: “That is how the political process works son.”

GW: “But it tain’t right. You watch! I’m gonna get your Cold War back! I promise!”

Flashback Pre-Election 2000

GW: “Daaddee. I thinks I wanna run fer president.”

Sr: “Son. I don’t think you have what it takes.”

GW: “Daaddee. It looks like a lot of fun. Neat toys! You can make some calls right?”

Sr: “Sure son. But you are going to have to listen to everything I tell you.”

Flashback Election 2000

GW: “I’m gonna lose! This ain’t right.”

*ring ring*

Jeb: “Hullo.”

GW: “Jeb. Yer the gov’ner. Make those votes right or I’ll tell everyone about that time I found you and Charlie nachid.”

Jeb: “Fixed.”

Flashback Pre-election 2004

GW: “This doggoned divided House and Senate makes my job hard.”

*ring ring*

CIA: “Thank you for calling the CIA. We fix things! Can I help you?”

GW: “Make sure that House and Senate is mostly Republicans.”

*checks polls*

GW: “This son of a gun has a chance!”

*ring ring*

CIA: “Thank you for calling the CIA. We fix things! Can I help you?”

GW: “How good are you at counting?”

CIA: “Good enough to tell you that you don’t need to pack your things for at least another 4 years.”

Flashforward Pre-election 2008

CIA: “Oh! Hello George!”

Message to Youth

I cannot find the statistics to back this up at the moment but I heard that only 20% of 18-22 year olds bothered to show up and vote. Apparently the parties and protests are more important than their futures.

I cry out to you “this is your country! It is your responsibility to step up and knowledgably decide what type of country you wish to live in.” Put down your toys and better prepare yourself for the 2008 election (if there is one) so that when the other 80% of you are 22-26 perhaps you will take your future more seriously, study the issues, and make an effort to see this country governed instead of dictated.

Save America!

I have an idea! Let’s look at the numbers and in the states that democrats don’t stand a chance let’s move them to states that were borderline. We have 4 years to work to save America and democracy! By 2008 we should have been able to shuffle enough democrats around to fix this horrible condition of having a Republican controlled House AND Senate!

Do you understand the implications of having a nutcase sitting in the veto seat while the House and Senate are totally run by rich Republicans? Add to that the replacement of a Supreme Court Justice by the same nutball. Welcome back to the Middle Ages folks! You’ve just voted yourselves into a feudal system.

Know the science?

Cool video! The video is work safe but the site has some porn banners and links to adult oriented sites. The video shows a cornstarch mixture. When the liquid is vibrated different behaviors are demonstrated by blowing air into the mixture. The first example shows a hole that is formed and never collapses despite the air being removed. The 2nd example shows the interaction of 3 such holes. I would expect them to combine into one instead they bounce off each other. The 3rd (at higher vibrations) holes don’t form but fingers form from the liquid and double as they topple over on themselves. Very interesting!

Political

I like this pledge on Instapundit.

Glen Reynolds words “…and I think that Kerry should consider whether he wants to concede gracefully or become a second Al Gore.” just get my ire. I remember the previous election. It was Bush that failed to concede the election gracefully. I contend that if GW’s brother was not the governor of Florida that these past 4 years would have been drastically different. Al Gore did the right thing and should have pushed it further!

A New Day! Let’s start the day off with a PayPa…

A New Day!

Let’s start the day off with a PayPal donation link:

This Morning

These election results are horrible! This election is tight. Perhaps this is why I get so frustrated with people from time to time. Slightly over 50% of the people I run into do not think like I do. Perhaps it is time to move to New England or California.

Mark my words. If Bush takes this election, he will immediately start procedures to seek a third term. He is the closest thing to a dictator this country has ever seen and with near a decades time in office and the ability to appoint a supreme court justice he will make changes to America that will take decades to undo. Your grandchildren will never know the freedoms you knew.

Should we not be listening when Washington DC has only 9% of its voters decide on Bush?

I don’t want knowledge. I want certainty.
