bah forgot to add a comment. Some dvd players are actually doing this. unfortunately it only works for most in dash receivers.
That’s cool. You know. I thought about it. We could put a screen in the steering wheel or a heads up display that once activated remained lit and showing what was on the dvd player for only 10 seconds and cannot be reactivated for 30 seconds. Just long enough to navigate the menu. It still distracts the driver but prevents the driver from watching the movie but no more than some of the shenanigans I have to do to reach a toy or try to push a button that’s behind my head.
