Woot Woot Woot!
For you woot fans that are often dejected that the good stuff sold out at 1:32am, Woot is having a Woot Off!
In Woot-Off mode, a new product is launched immediately after the sellout of the previous deal. There is a half-Woot-life of 12 hours maximum on any product within a Woot-Off that does not sell out. The number of Woot-Off items, sequence, and quantity will not be announced.

Blog of the week
This celebrity blog is undeniably unique. One photo does have the f word and one that rhymes with sit but otherwise a quick glances gives the impression that its a fairly safe site. If the depth of content remains at its current quality, I may have to put this on the blog roll and make it a regular read.
Amanda Congdon Naked
I’ve been encouraging people to check out Rocketboom and Wednesday I posted The Right Way To Do A Video Blog. In the process I discovered Amanda Congdon has her own wikipedia entry. I also discovered this amusing post by Alec Muffett who analyzed his server logfiles to people visiting him looking for Amanda Congdon information with 29% of them trying to find her naked.
So that’s 192 people searching for information about Ms Congdon, 29% of whom are searching along with the word “naked”.
Alec offers these words:
Mmm. Grow up, you pitiful nerds.
Learn to appreciate people for what they are and what they do.
And if you are new to Rocketboom, I highly recommend the Sept 27, 2005 show.
The right way to do a video blog
Know thy Amanda! I believe everyone’s introduction to Rocketboom should be the Sept 27, 2005 episode. That’s my personal favorite episode and the day I started watching.
Rocketboom is a three minute daily videoblog based in New York City. We cover and create a wide range of information and commentary from top news stories to quirky internet culture. Agenda includes releasing each new clip at 9am EST, Monday through Friday. With a heavy emphasis on international arts, technology and weblog drama, Rocketboom is presented via online video and widely distributed through RSS.
I give this program a high recommendation! I read in the comments that Amanda Congdon actually interviewed for the partnership position.
In February Amanda will play herself on CSI! She is graced with her own wikipedia entry. Their show went from a 700 person viewership in 2004 to 70,000 in just 10 months! For the true fans, she also has a blog.

Backmasked Lyrics
We’ve all heard that if you play certain music backwards that you can hear hidden messages but have you ever tried it? This person actually went to the trouble of recording his music backwards to find the hidden messages. Technically he just recorded the music then reversed it in Windows Recorder. If you are only going to check out one, let it be Britney Spears “Hit Me Baby One More Time.”
