Who am I?

Read some words last night reminding me that we are not defined by the labels applied to us. I am not "Doug" I am not a "juggler" I am not a "freelancer" I am not a "father" I am not a "liberal" I am not a "computer expert" I am not a "blogger" I am beyond the boundaries of these labels. Yes I am these things however I am not limited to these things.

Our human nature is to categorize and classify things. In doing so, we imprison people by binding them to preconceived notions. You say "Republican" and I instantly have a vision of "who you are" but this is wrong. A label does not make the person nor does the person have to be constrained to the limits of that label.

Who am I? I am everything. I am potential. Know me. Don’t label me.
