I had some kids from the musical I’m doing singing that – I joined along with them, and one said, “That’s from Spamalot”.
I said, “Really? Well, it was from “Life of Brian” originally.”
None of them had ever heard of it.
I said, “Yeah, Brian’s being crucified on a cross and all these guys are being crucified with him, and they’re all singing this cute, funny song. Very ironic and jarring when you think about it…”
They all looked at me as if I’d grown another head…
Haha! I can picture them all drop jawed then slowly backing away.
