Why fathers should skip their daughter’s teen years.
Me: "How are you doing on lunch money?"
Sarah, 16 years old, looks at me like I just asked the craziest question ever: "I dunno."
Me: "You don’t know how much money is in your account?"
Sarah: "Well no. There should be a few days."
Me: "Today, when you buy lunch, could you check on your balance please?"
Sarah, looking very put out: "I guess."
Maybe she doensn’t eat in front of classmates either (in addition to boys)!
Also, I saw this website on HVA’s website. I assume it goes for all of Knox Co Schools. You can check their balance and make payments with a 1.95 fee. Then you can check if they have lunch money and cut out the middle man…er, middle teenage girl…

We love paypams! I actually use it to check the balances but I try to put the onus on the teenagers to keep up with their own accounts. And you are correct, Sarah often eats like a bird at school. She also packs lunches on days she doesn’t like the menu.
